Connect H&W is an out-of-network healthcare provider, meaning we do not participate with any health insurance company. The services we offer are considered to be alternative and complementary health interventions, which are not typically covered under insurance. The most common exception to this would be our medical massage services, which may qualify for reimbursement depending on your insurance plan.

To determine if you qualify for reimbursement, we recommend calling your insurance provider directly. Typically, a prescription for massage from your doctor is required. Once I receive your script and insurance information, I can provide you with a superbill for each treatment session, which can then be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement. 

Note: Connect H&W will not directly contact your insurance provider, but we will be happy to provide you with any documentation you need. 

Connect H&W private practice is located at 2002 New York Avenue, First Floor, Union City, NJ 07087. Parking for one car is available on the south side of the building (Monastery Place). The entrance to the practice is on the west side of the building (New York Avenue). 

All sales for cost of services are final. If you cannot attend your scheduled appointment, and notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled session time, you will be offered one opportunity to reschedule that appointment within 15 days of your cancellation, free of additional charge. Second reschedule attempts, 24 hours prior to the session, will incur a $15 fee. Cancellation/reschedules within 24 hours, as well as a third reschedule for the same appointment, will be charged a $40 fee. No-show appointments (includes arriving more than 15 minutes late for a session without notice) will be charged 50% of the service fee. 

There are contraindications for different types of breathwork techniques in the case of specific physical/mental illnesses. Please inform me of any specific medical condition/s via our confidential intake forms, prior to your appointment. I will adapt and modify your private session to ensure techniques that may be contraindicated for you are not performed. I may suggest that you consult with your doctor before engaging in a private class to further reduce the potential for adverse effects. Consulting with your doctor if you are concerned is always a good idea.
